My background is in business — a digital marketing degree and an honours in strategic brand management. I started my career as a copywriter and social media marketer, working alongside designers and strategists, which is where I got interested in how messaging, design, and behaviour intersect.
A few years into my career I went to work in hospitality abroad. Reading a room, adapting fast, and handling people mid-problem turned out to be valuable UX training. UX is where my backgrounds meet. I think about positioning and long-term value as readily as I think about spacing and flows. The interfaces I like are calm and seamless, until there’s a reason to be bold.
Outside work I cook, read, hike, and spend time with animals.
I use Figma for all UX work, from wireframes to fully clickable prototypes with my design decisions documented so handoff is smooth. Work that is calm and seamless, bold when there’s a reason, lead to purposeful and useful products.
Interviews, surveys, affinity mapping, personas, and the synthesis that turns an array of thoughts into a clear line of thinking you can design against. I document everything the research covers alongside what it does not.
Positioning, voice, personality, and the visuals that convey them. I hold an honours degree in strategic brand management, so this is where I start when a product doesn’t quite know what it stands for yet.
Messaging, campaigns, and social content adapted to your brand’s platform. I started my career as a copywriter and social media marketer, so I create content based on what you are offering, not just based on a posting schedule.
